Lakota crowns Reese, Below at homecoming PDF Print E-mail

KANSAS - Cariss Reese and Kyle Below were crowned homecoming queen and king during ceremonies Sept. 27 at Lakota High School.
She is the daughter of Gary and Charlotte Reese and is a member of the cross country and track teams. She also is involved in National Honor Society, SADD, FCCLA and Varsity L. Reese's future plans are to attend a four year college and major in computer science.
He is the son of Tim and Theresa Below and he plays football, as well as basketball and baseball. Below plans to attend college to major in sports and recreation management.
The other queen and king candidates included Kyleigh Harrison, Colin Timmons, Marissa Hicks and Jack Raymond.
Harrison is a member of the volleyball team and in the spring she plays softball. She also is senior class president and a member of the show choir, yearbook staff, and National Honor Society. Her future plans include going to Bowling Green State University to study music performance, and she hopes to one day be a professional singer. She is the daughter of David and Teri Harrison.
Timmons is captain of the football team. He also plays basketball and is a member of the FFA. He plans to attend Bowling Green State University to major in business. He is the son of Kurt and Lisa Timmons.
Hicks is a member of National Honor Society and is one of the cheerleading captains. She plans to attend Kent State University for pediatric nursing. She is the daughter of Tim and Melissa Hicks.
Raymond is a member of the football and baseball teams as well as National Honor Society, student council and Varsity L. In the future he plans to become an architect after graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in architecture. He is the son of John and Amy Raymond.
The junior delegates were Qiana Palos and Jared Wolph.
She is the daughter of Tony and Diana Palos and is a member of the volleyball team, and throughout the year she participates in basketball and softball. She plans to attend Cincinnati University to be a forensic scientist.
Wolph is the son of Jared Wolph and Trina Wolph and is a member of the wrestling team and is enrolled in the Criminal Justice program at Vanguard. In the future he plans to enlist in the National Guard and attend college with a double major in criminal justice and journalism.
The sophomore delegates were Aspen Ray and Andrew Ferree.
Ray is the daughter of Sherry Noe and David Ray. She is the sophomore class president for student council and she participates in volleyball, track and softball.
Ferree is the son of Wendy Ferree and Jamey Koester. He is a member of the football team.
This year's freshmen delegates were Ashley Graham and Collin Gosche.
Graham is the daughter of Tom and Kim Graham. She plays volleyball and is planning on playing softball in the spring.
Gosche is the son of Jim and Denise Gosche. He participates in golf, basketball and track and is a member of show choir and is the freshmen class president for student council.
The 2012 homecoming queen and king, Stephanie Miller and Nathan Ray, assisted with the crowning.
Miller is the daughter of Bruce and Theresa Miller and is currently majoring in cosmetology.
Ray is the son of Larry and Lachelle Ray and is currently attending Terra State Community and majoring in accounting.
This year's crown-bearers were Ryliegh Wyant and Brady Tyson.
Ryleigh is the daughter of Aaron and Beriah Wyant and Brady is the son of Randy Tyson and Jessica Tyson Both are Lakota kindergartners.
