Bluffton University held its 113th commencement ceremony in May 5, recognized 279 graduates.
Among the graduates was Kristi S. Schaaf, Bowling Green, who earned a bachelor's degree in organizational management.
Allison Augsburger of Bowling Green, graduated from Berry College with a bachelor of science degree in animal science.
The college is located in Rome, Ga.
Among the local students who received degrees at Heidelberg University's commencement in May were: Theodore Denker, Perrysburg, bachelor of science degree with a major in business administration; Emily Myers of North Baltimore, master of arts in counseling degree.
Davenport University has announced that Melanie Sayre of Rossford joined the ranks of more than 2,000 new college graduates, officially completing degrees in business, technology or health professions at the end of the winter 2013 semester.
Elizabeth Ann Muckensturm of Bowling Green, graduated from Clemson University with a master of arts in communication, technology and society.
Logan Riker of Bowling Green, graduated with a bachelor of science in marketing from Quinnipiac University during the 82nd Undergraduate Commencement held May 19.
The university is located in Hamden, Conn.
Rhodes State College
Two local students received their associate's degree from Rhodes State College in Lima following spring semester: Taylor Lonchyna, Rossford, corrections; and Melanie Yarger, Rudolph, occupational therapy assistant.
Several local students graduated this spring from Ohio University in Athens, including Jacob Price and Judy Pope, both with a bachelor of science in nursing and both from Bowling Green; and Jessica Martin, with a doctor of osteopathic medicine, also of Bowling Green.
Students from Perrysburg who earned degrees include Caroline Walp, bachelor of fine arts; Sarah Todak, bachelor of science in human and consumer sciences; Kelsey Smith, bachelor of business administration; Nora Skorupski, bachelor of arts; Andrew Schrock, bachelor of science in communication; Melissa Nevolis, bachelor of business administration; Thomsen Knudson, bachelor of science in health; Sara Hetrick, bachelor of science in aviation; Amanda Haskins, bachelor of science in human and consumer sciences; and Rebecca Billings, doctor of osteopathic medicine.
Melanie Kaczinski, of Perrysburg, earned a bachelor of science in biomedical sciences at spring graduation at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis.
Terra State Community College
Terra State Community College in Fremont has announced its Class of 2013 including the following Wood County students:
Bowling Green: David Allen, associate of applied science, electricity/power and control; Anneliese Evans, associate of applied science, digital arts & media/3-D animation and digital arts & media/web design; Jack Haynes II, associate of applied science, electricity/power and controls, summa cum laude.
Bradner: Chelsea Strawman, associate of applied science, medical assisting/phlebotomy, cum laude.
Northwood: Christopher Booth, associate of applied science, manufacturing engineering/mechanical engineering technology.
Risingsun: Jacob McGowan, associate of applied business, computer systems/computer information systems, cum laude.
Spring Arbor University
Several area students received degrees during spring commencement at Spring Arbor (Mich.) University, including: Megan Hayward, of Bowling Green, master of arts in counseling; Glen King, of Bradner, bachelor of science in nursing; Jennifer Moser-Krantz, of Perrysburg, bachelor of arts in organizational management; and Jessica Reed, of Perrysburg, master of business administration.
Northern Illinois University
Michael Weigman of Perrysburg, has graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb.
