Lorrie Lewandowski was recognized at Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the board of
directors of the Educational Service Center for her state award.
The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Association of Ohio had previously announced
Lewandowski as the recipient of the 2012 member of the year for "exemplary
contributions" to the organization.
She is coordinator/supervisor of the School and Community-Based Alcohol, Tobacco and
Other Drug Prevention Program
ESC superintendent Kyle Kanuckel said he felt it was important to recognize her as
well and presented her with a certificate.
"I’m not sure if people know and understand what Lorrie does for the students in
this area towards the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse," Kanuckel said.
