Elmwood hosts band spectacular PDF Print E-mail

BLOOMDALE - The first ever Northern Buckeye Conference Band Spectacular, hosted by the Elmwood High School Music Department, will be held Saturday at the new Elmwood stadium.
The event will feature four bands from the NBC - Fostoria, Lake, Otsego and host band Elmwood, along with neighboring bands from Lakota and Holgate.
A parade of bands will kick off the evening at 6. That will be followed by individual "halftime" performances from each ensemble.
Featured shows will include music from the band Kiss, "Beatlemania," "Wizard of Oz," "Soul Train," "Batman" and "Superman."
The bands will coming to play a special selection under the direction of guest director Jim George.
Tickets are $10 for reserved seats and $5 for general admission.
