Rossford ready to reorganizeROSSFORD – The Board of Education’s organizational meeting is
still more than three weeks away, but already a key decision is made.Board President Dawn Burks told her
fellow board members Monday that she was not interested in returning as board leader.Long-time board
member and Vice President Ken Sutter said he would be interested in the post.Newly-elected board member
Jackie Huffman, who was seated with the public at the meeting, said she was willing to serve as vice
president.The organizational meeting will be held Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. in the Bulldog Center meeting
room.Huffman will be sworn in at that time.The board said farewell to Doug Miller, who did not win
re-election in November.Muck is teacher of the MonthROSSFORD – Jennifer Muck, fifth-grade teacher at
Eagle Point Elementary School, was the winning teacher of 101.5 The River’s Teacher of the Month
contest.Muck and her classroom received a visit from Mary Beth and Rick, the hosts of 101.5 The River’s
Morning Show on Dec. 5.Students were treated to a Toft’s ice cream party. Each student received a coupon
for free admission to Imagination Station with an adult admission. They also received pins and tattoos
from Imagination Station.Muck received a $100 gift card to Meijer, which she plans to use on classroom
materials. She also received a Toft’s gift basket with coupons and an Imagination Station
membership.Otsego changes date for Hall of Fame programTONTOGANY – Otsego Local Schools has changed the
date for its Hall of fame program.The induction ceremony will take place Feb. 21 at Otsego High
School.Rossford seeks drama alumsRossford High School Drama Club is organizing a reunion for all Drama
Club alumni. They are specifically seeking alumni from 1980-2000.The reunion will be held immediately
