Rossford HS collects toys
ROSSFORD - The Rossford High School Teen Institute, Link Crew, football and boys' basketball teams, Student Council, National Honor Society, International Club, and the freshman class are once again holding a toy drive for local needy families. "Toys for Needy Families" will begin Monday and run through the school day on Dec. 19.
Drop off donations at the high school office or take them to the home basketball game on Dec. 17.

Eastwood inducts new members to honor society
PEMBERVILLE - The National Honor Society at Eastwood High School recently inducted its new members during a ceremony held in the auditorium.
This year's new members are Julianna Cajka, Sierra Corns, Evan Deniston, Harold Dippman, Sabree Durbin, Maddison Fix, Jason Fertig, Lucas Friess, Morgan Getz, Elizabeth Hasenfratz, Kelsey Hilt, Paige Himburg, Liz Hirzel, Zachary Jacoby, Elena Kirkbride, David Krukemyer, Tyler McCrory, Maghan Purney, Jenna Selhorst, Elly Schnitker, Lydia Tressel, Caleb Tussing, Kyle Waynick and Erik Withrow.

Upcoming board meetings
The Elmwood Board of Education will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the auditeria.
Perrysburg Board of Education will meet Monday at 5:30 at the Commodore Building.
Lakota Board of Education will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the staff dining room at the Lakota Local School Building.
The Northwood Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium, followed by a community meeting at 7 to discuss facilities.

Terra Instant Admission Days
FREMONT - Terra State Community College will host a series of Instant Admission Days for new and returning students.
Instant Admission Days are Dec. 18 and 19, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Dec. 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students will be able to complete the application process, complete placement testing, and receive advising in preparation for orientation and registration. Assistance with financial aid forms will also be available, all without an appointment.
Participants should bring official and final high school or college transcripts, and it is recommended that the application is completed at home before arriving on campus for Instant Admission Days. It is available online at www.terra.edu.
