BGHS FFA produces lettuce, powder puff football returns.
The Bowling Green High School FFA will serve a Salad Luncheon today using hydroponic lettuce grown in the
chapter’s greenhouse.
This is the fourth year for the event.
Powder puff football will return this year, with all classes competing. Male cheerleaders will root for
the female athletes at the event planned for May 10.
County schools do well at state cheer competition
The 2014 OASSA Cheer and Dance State competition was held March 16 at the Stroh Center.
The local squad results included:
Division I – Mounting – 6 squads competing: Perrysburg, second.
Division II – Mounting – 3 squads competing: Lake, first; Bowling Green, second.
Division III – Mounting – 7 squads competing: Northwood, second; Otsego, fifth.
Division III – Non-Mount – 11 squads competing: Elmwood, sixth.
