School boards meet next week
The Bowling Green Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby.
Northwood Board of Education also will meet Tuesday, at 6 p.m. in the high school media center.
The Perrysburg Board of Education meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Commodore Building.
The Eastwood Board of Education will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the high school study hall.
All meetings are open to the public.
BG wants more community feedback for planning future
The Bowling Green Board of Education is engaging in the second phase of their strategic planning process
to help set our district goals for the next three to five years.
Based on the information gathered thus far, the second survey was created to help determine the areas of
focus for the next three years. The district is again seeking feedback from parents and community
members.
This survey will close Feb. 23 at midnight and should take under five minutes to complete. Visit the
Bowling Green City School website, www.bgcs.k12.oh.us. A link to the survey is available on the front
page.
Feb. 21 is deadline for kindergarten screening registration at Eastwood
PEMBERVILLE – Ohio law requires both kindergarten attendance and kindergarten screening. Students must
reside in the Eastwood Local School District, and be five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2014 to be
eligible to attend school in the fall.
Eastwood Local Schools will have all day kindergarten for the 2014/15 school year.
Kindergarten screening will be held on March 21, March 28 and April 4.

Pre-registered is required to have a screening date and time scheduled.
The deadline for pre-registration is Feb. 21.
Eastwood cancels 2-hour delay
PEMBERVILLE – Eastwood Schools will be cancelling the two-hour delay scheduled for Feb. 25 for
professional development.
Classes will run on time that day, or at least that is the plan pending weather.
