About 14,800 Purdue University students earned academic honors for the fall 2012 semester. To earn honors, students must have had at least a 3.5 semester or cumulative grade point average on a four-point scale.
Local honorees include Evan Appold and Scott Frissell, both of Perrysburg.
Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2012-2013 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.
That list includes:
Michael Cavanaugh, Anna Humeniuk. Benjamin Johnson, Stacy Kotula, Elizabeth Myerholtz, Abigail Sell, and Kelsey Venis, all of Bowling Green; LeeAnn Irwin of Cygnet; Meghan Mullins of Millbury; Elizabeth Coronado and Alaina Marie Veluscek, both of Rossford; and Caitlyn Baird, Cori Boyce, Emily Cooper, Sara Dastagir, Kelley Lach, Dorothy Lakis, Chelsea Liebenthal, Alyssa Mesker, Adam Moore, Joshua Roach, Bailie Schira, Kaley Sobanski, Samantha Sobecki, Gabrielle Trojanowski, John Veltri, Curtis Werner and Maggie Whitacre, all of Perrysburg.
Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2012-13 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.
That list includes: Erin LeGalley, Ross McDermott and Sarah Woessner, all of Bowling Green; Kalina Hillard of Grand Rapids; and Alyssa Hetrick and Kaitlin Moore, both of Perrysburg.
Bellarmine University has named Perrysburg resident Bailey BredenbeckCorp to the dean's list for fall 2012.
Bellarmine's dean's list recognizes students who receive a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
The university is located in Louisville, Ky.
Alexander Snow Min, of Perrysburg, was named to the fall dean's list at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
To qualify for the dean's list students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
University of Dallas
Bridget Weisenburger, a sophomore from Pemberville, has been named to the University of Dallas dean's list for the fall 2012 semester for earning a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
The university is located in Irving, Texas.
