Trine University
Several local students were named to the Trine University president’s list and dean’s list for the fall
semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must have at least a 3.75 grade point average
on a 4.0 scale and carry at least 15 credit hours.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a semester grade-point average of 3.5 to
3.749 and carry a minimum of 15 credits.
The president’s list includes Sarah Fowler of Bowling Green; Hunter Johnson of Millbury; and Zachary
Titkemeier of Luckey.
The dean’s list includes Kimberly Graffin of Bowling Green.
Kettering College
Tyler Farr, of Bowling Green, has been named to the Kettering College dean’s list for the fall semester.

In order to make the list, he must have completed at least 12 total credit hours during a semester at a
grade point average of 3.50 or greater, with no grade below a B-.
Capital University
Capital University in Bexley has announced its president’s list for the fall 2013 semester.
The list indicates the highest level of academic distinction achieved among full-time, degree-seeking
students. To be named to this list, students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.85.

The following students achieved this academic distinction: Shayna Hague of Perrysburg and Benjamin Jensen
of Millbury.
The university also announced its provost’s list for students who achieved a grade point average of at
least 3.70 during the fall 2013 semester.
The following students achieved this distinction: Colleen Fondessy of Fostoria and Callie Slagle of North
Baltimore.
Students who were named to the dean’s list achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the fall
2013 semester.
The following students honored included: Brittany Gross of Cygnet.
Huntington University
Huntington University has announced the students that were named to the dean’s list for the fall
semester.
The honor recognizes students who achieved a semester grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00
scale.
The following students from Wood County were recognized: Blake Hughes, of Rossford; Blair Caldwell, of
Rossford; Amanda Daunhauer, of Fostoria; and Leah Johnson, of Northwood.
Bluffton University
Bluffton University has announced its dean’s list for the fall term.
Students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean’s list. Hannah Barber of Bowling Green
made this list.
Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 based on 20 semester hours received distinction for
continued high achievement. Matthew Weisenborn of Bowling Green made this list.
Grove City College
Kariah Church, of Luckey, has been named to the dean’s list with high distinction for the fall 2013
semester at Grove City College.
Hiram College
Ashley Marsh, of Luckey, was named to the dean’s list at Hiram College for completing 12 or more hours
for graded coursework and achieving at least a 3.6 grade point average for the spring semester.
The University of Akron
Nearly 8,000 students made The University of Akron’s dean list for fall 2013.

Miami University
Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each
division for first semester 2013-14 have been named to the president’s list recognizing academic
excellence. Emily Myerholtz of Bowling Green, LeeAnn Irwin of Cygnet, Steven Slocum of Perrysburg,
Katelyn Mahood of Perrysburg, Baylee Smith of Perrysburg and Grace Pozniak of Perrysburg made this list

Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division
for first semester 4 have been named to the dean’s list recognizing academic performance.
Local students on this list include: Madaline Hoffman of Fostoria, Joseph Nowatzke of Fostoria, Elizabeth
Myerholtz of Bowling Green, Michael Cavanaugh of Bowling Green, Abigail Sell of Bowling Green, Meghan
