Kent State University
Lindsey Nelson, Bowling Green, made the dean's list for fall semester at Kent State University.
She is a senior majoring in early childhood education with a math and science concentration.
Grand Valley State University
Chase Baldwin, Pemberville, made the fall dean's list at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
He had to maintain at least a 3.5 gpa for the term.
Bluffton University has announced its dean's list for the fall term.
Students with a gpa of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean's list.
Students, including Matthew Weisenborn of Bowling Green, with a cumulative gpa of at least 3.75 based on 20 semester hours received distinction for continued high achievement.
Jessica Borsani of North Baltimore was one of 324 undergraduates named to Denison University's 2012 fall semester dean's list.
Students who achieve dean's list status have maintained a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the semester.
Claire Konieczny, Millbury, made the Centre College dean's list for fall term, an honor reserved for students who maintain at least a 3.60 grade point average.
She is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy.
Centre College is located in Danville, Ky.
Hocking College has announced it dean's list for autumn semester 2012. Each student earned at least a 3.3 grade point average and completed 12 or more credit hours.
Local students include Alexander Hermanutz and Addison Pope, both of Perrysburg; Samantha Neuman, Bowling Green; and Derek Middaugh, formerly of Wood County.
Grove City College
The following area residents were named to the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester at Grove City College.
Kariah Church, Luckey, is a junior business management major has been named to the dean's list.
Christina Snyder, of Perrysburg, a senior elementary education major has been named to the dean's list with high distinction.
Students eligible for the dean's list have a gpa of 3.40 to 3.59; and for the dean's list with high distinction a gpa of 3.85 to 4.00.
The college is located in Grove City, Pa.
University of Dayton
The University of Dayton has named more than 2,600 students to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year. To be named to the dean's list at UD, a student must achieve a superior academic record, which is a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Local students on the list include Allyson Caperna, Kara Dickey and Megan Herr, all of Bowling Green; Deborah Kinor, Katherine Miller, and Karl Seiwert, all of Perrysburg; and Ross Sattler, Rossford.
Georgia Southern University
Georgia Southern University recently named 2,623 students as 2012 fall semester dean's list honorees.
Leslie Shaevitz from Bowling Green, OH has been named to the list.
To be eligible, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
The university is located in Statesboro, Ga.
Shawnee State University
Marisa Morlock, of Wayne, a radiologic technology major, has been named to the dean's list for fall semester at Shawnee State University, in Portsmouth.
To be named on the list, students must be full time and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
Ohio Wesleyan University
Local students earning fall dean's list recognition at Ohio Wesleyan University include Mariah Bockbrader of Bowling Green, Katherine Buckingham of Bloomdale, Kelsey Gallaher of Perrysburg, and Logan Markins of Fostoria.
To qualify for recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
The university is located in Delaware.
Saint Mary's College
Saint Mary's College, in Notre Dame, Ind., named Alyssa Baz to the dean's list for the fall semester.
Alyssa is from Perrysburg.
To earn academic honors at Saint Mary's, a student must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.6.
