Shawnee State University
Shawnee State University has released the president’s list and dean’s list for the fall semester 2013.

To be named to the president’s list, students must be full-time and have achieved a grade point average
of 4.0.
Local students earning that honor included Marisa Morlock and Kevin Hammer, both of Wayne.
Thomas Edwards, of Pemberville, was named to the dean’s list after earning a 3.5 or better gpa.
The school is located in Portsmouth.
University of Cincinnati
The fall semester dean’s list for the University of Cincinnati includes the following local students:
Bowling Green: Sara Clark.
North Baltimore: Amanda Hotaling and Megan Rush.

Marquette University
The following local students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Marquette
University in Milwaukee, Wis.: Jacob Kennedy of Bowling Green, and Tyler Halicek of Perrysburg.
Cornell University
Cornell University’s Nina Klopfer of Bowling Green has been placed on the dean’s list of the College of
Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the fall 2013 semester.
Missouri S&T
Clayton Mears of Portage, a freshman in engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology in
Rolla, Mo., has been named to the honor list for the 2013 fall semester.
Honor list recipients must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or
above out of a possible 4.0
University of Pittsburgh
Amy Johnson, Bowling Green, is designated as an Honor Student in the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson
School of Engineering for the term ending December 2013 with a 3.7 gpa.
She also is a member of the University of Pittsburgh’s Honor College, the university’s Steel City Bhangra
Dance Team and is a tour guide for the Cathedral of Learning Nationality Rooms.
Washington and Lee University
Abdurrafey Khan of Perrysburg, a member of the class of 2017 at Washington and Lee University, has earned
dean’s list status for the recently ended winter term 2013.
Dean’s list status at Washington and Lee represents a term grade-average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Wittenberg University
The following Wittenberg University students made the dean’s list, maintaining a 3.5 grade point average
for the 2013 fall semester: Katherine Brown and Shane Edwards, both of Perrysburg.
Otterbein University
Otterbein University has recognize Justin Christoff, of Bowling Green, by naming him to the dean’s list
for fall semester.
Students must be full-time with a grade point average of at least 3.60 to qualify for the list.
