Meanwhile, the ornery Cat in the Hat (Logan Genson) performs tricks on the beloved JoJo (Paige Genson), son of the Mayors of Who (Luke Laviolette and Andrea Howard).
The show blends elements from 15 of Dr. Seuss's stories into one original tale.
It is by Stephen Flahtery and Lynn Ahrens, with permission by Musical Theater International.
Old and new characters work together to celebrate the ideals that Dr. Seuss believed in: helping friends, keeping promises, the value and dignity of others, the importance of peace among nations and the power of imagination.
Jojo, performed by Paige Genson, imagines the world of McElligot's Pool from his bathtub guided by the Cat in the Hat, performed by Logan Genson in Northwood's production of Seussical.
