Sarah Woelke, daughter of James and Martha Woelke, Bowling Green, graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio Northern University. She received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Woelke was active in Psi Sigma psychology and sociology club, Psi Chi psychology honorary, Delta Phi Alpha German honorary, Colleges Against Cancer and Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary for freshman women. She is a graduate of Bowling Green High School.

The following Miami University students from the area achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average for second semester and were named the president's list: Erin LeGalley of Bowling Green; Charlotte Freeman, Joshua Roach, Raeanne Carella, Alyssa Hetrick, and Kaitlin Moore, all of Perrysburg, and Chelsea Kiene of Weston.

Trine University senior exercise science major Stephanie Meier of Perrysburg traveled to Kalovy Vary and Prague in the Czech Republic and Munich, Germany, May 17 to 25 to study global health and wellness. She took the trip as part of the Global Understanding of Health and Wellness course.

Colleen Kauth of Perrysburg was awarded a bachelor of arts degree from Denison University on May 13. Kauth graduated with majors in French, international studies and woman's studies. A dean's list student, Kauth was awarded the Denison Founders Scholarship, the Cindy Whitacre '73 Scholarship, the Walter T. Secor Memorial Scholarship and the OFIC Scholarship.

Aaron Swartz, son of Ken and Sharon Swartz of Perrysburg, graduated summa cum laude from Wittenberg University on May 12.

Eric Stencil, Bowling Green, earned a doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May.
