ROSSFORD - Rossford schools are planning to put out the welcome mat for students who will be shifting places next fall.
Superintendent Daniel Creps said that Eagle Point and Glenwood elementaries will hold open houses on May 12 to help students who will be attending in fall get oriented in their new school. Creps didn't have the times set, but said they would be staggered so families with a student in each school would be able to attend both. The events will be a chance to look over the schools and meet teachers.
The middle school will also be holding an open house on May 13.
The district is closing Indian Hills Elementary and consolidating grades in fall. All prekindergarten through grade 2 classes will be housed at Glenwood and all grades 3 through 5 will be at Eagle Point. Sixth graders will move into the middle school with the seventh and eighth graders.
