| BGSU tech students earn scholarships |

This spring, Bowling Green State University's College of Technology awarded scholarships to its top students. The winner of the largest award, a combined total of $1,500, was freshman construction management major Bobby Gittinger, who was awarded the Robert L. Maxwell & Lathrop/Turner Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 and the Mosser Construction Scholarship in the amount of $500. Several Wood County students were awarded scholarships of $200 or more. Rachel Rine, Bowling Green, a junior majoring in visual communication technology, is the recipient of the Ardanall B. Mason Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. She is a member of the Falcon Forensics Speech & Debate Team, Pi Kappa Delta, and is active in Dance Marathon. She is a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green High School and the daughter of Eric and Stephanie Rine. Dennis Sartor, Northwood, a freshman architecture major, is the recipient of the Ardanall B. Mason Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. He is a 2010 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School and the son of Anthony Sartor and Michelle Swan. Britni Fackler, Weston, a junior majoring in advanced technological education, is the recipient of the Ardanall B. Mason Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. She is a 2003 graduate of Bryan High School and the daughter of Phil Hagelberger, of Bryan. |
