The Bowling Green State University Master of Public Administration program will hold a drop-in information session for prospective students on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Williams Hall 118
The MPA program can be completed full-time in a year and a half, or part-time/in the evenings. The program prepares students for management careers in government and the nonprofit sector. Coursework in the program emphasizes a blend of theory and practice.
According to Coordina-tor Dr. Shannon Orr, the MPA program is unique in Ohio. "With new faculty and a new curriculum, the BGSU MPA program is experiencing tremendous growth. We are fortunate that we are able to partner with many community organizations and governments in Northwest Ohio to provide our students with real world experiences so that they are prepared to take on leadership roles within the community upon graduation."
