The Elmwood Music Department will present "Beauty and the Beast" this week in the Community
Center.
The story is about a prince who is transformed into a hideous beast as punishment for his cruel and
selfish ways, and an adventurous young woman named Belle whom he imprisons in his castle.
In order to become human again, the Beast must earn Belle’s love before it’s too late.
The show features Joshua Mathias as Beast/Prince, Bailey Snyder as Belle, Jacob Houtz as Gaston, Jonah
Houtz as LeFou, Tyler Murray as Lumiere, William Frederick as Cogsworth, Paige Fisk as Mrs. Potts,
Joshua Reed as Chip, Madison Arnold as Babette and Madison Thatcher as Wardrobe.
Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and are available in the high school office.
