Registration is open for the University of Findlay's CSI Summer Camp, which will be June 24-28 on campus.
The intense, five-day forensic science camp will give high school students an introduction to the world of forensic science, using biology, chemistry, math and physics.
Students will use deductive reasoning and current forensic techniques to uncover and explore the mystery of a series of unsolved crimes. Participants will examine evidence left behind at the crime scene and attempt to identify a suspect. Campers also will interact with professional scientists and investigators, getting a feel for what their future careers may be like.
The camp is directed by faculty members in the university's forensic science, biology and chemistry departments.
Cost for the five-day camp is $400, which includes room, board, snacks, meals, materials and a T-shirt. Space is limited, and the registration deadline is June 3.
Register online at www.findlay.edu, Keyword: CSI Camp.
