The July 17, 2014 meeting was opened by President Patti Wires. Prayer given by Marcia Wesolowski. Four
members were present. Minutes and Treasurer’s report were given.

will be coming out shortly.

Thank you from Anna Kaiser, Buckeye Girls State delegate. Anna served as city school board member for
Allen City while attending Buckeye Girl’s State in Alliance, OH June 15-21. Congratulations!
September 17th will be a potluck starting at 6 p.m. at the Legion followed by presentations from the
delegates to Buckeye Boys/Girl State on their week at Buckeye Boys State and Buckeye Girls State. All
Legion, Sons and Auxiliary Members welcomed. Bring a dish to share.
A donation to the Veterans Memorial was made.
Marcia, Myra, Donna and Lonnie will be marching at the Post Everlasting at the Wood County Fair on July
28th. Meet at 5:30. Marcia will be bringing the jackets for those marching.
Upcoming Events: July 28 to Aug. 4 – Wood County Fair; Aug. 8,9,10 – Tontogany Festival; Aug. 15,16,17 –
Tractor Pulls.
Next meeting will be potluck on Aug. 6 at the home of Rita’s Euler at 6:30. Hope to see you there.
