Laureate Gamma Sigma celebrates BSP Founder’s Day

TONTOGANY – Laureate Gamma Sigma members celebrated the 83rd anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi on Monday by
having lunch at SamB’s on South Main Street.
Following lunch, they went to the home of Betty Buehrer where Joyce Asmus led the opening ritual.
The Golden Circle Degree was given to Donna Lambert, with Judy Robinson leading.
Following this, the new officers were installed by Robinson.
Jacquelyn Shank read the Founder’s Day pledge.
Janice Kaiser gave the international message and new theme for 2014-15, which is "Expand Your Family
Tree."
Lambert gave reflections of 2013-14.
Buehrer named those who have had perfect attendance: Asmus, Barbara Heiman, Lambert, Buehrer and Shank.

All joined in repeating the closing ritual.
Mother’s Day was discussed. The chapter will meet at 10 a.m. on May 12 to set up for the program, which
will be held at the town hall.
For the last meeting of the year and anniversary party on May 19, members will eat out.
The place is yet to be announced.
The meeting will follow at Shank’s home in Waterville.
