Senior Gathering is Thursday
WAYNE – The Senior Gathering at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church will be Thursday at noon.
All seniors are invited and friends for a free lunch and entertainment by Rita Marvin.
The church is located at the corner of Bays and Reynolds roads.
Honey bees are Kiwanis program
Honey bees are the subject of the program for the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday at Stone
Ridge Golf Club.
The program will be presented by Fritz Gehring, an apiarist from Wood County.
NAMI is topic at Rotary meeting
The Wood County NAMI and Anti-Stigma & Recovery is the topic at Thursday’s Bowling Green Rotary
Club meeting.
The club will meet Thursday at 11:40 a.m. at the BG Country Club.
Dog Days of July held in Pemberville
PEMBERVILLE – The Dog Days of July will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the pool shelter house.
Adults and children needed to show off prized possessions for a fun competition.

PEMBERVILLE – The 39th annual tug a war contest will be Aug. 16 at 5 p.m. at the Pemberville Free Fair.

Six divisions will compete.
