Bradner serves baked steak
BRADNER – The Bradner American Legion Post will serve a baked steak dinner Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1
p.m.
The cost is $7.
The meal also will include mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, pie and beverage.
Carryouts will be available by calling 419-288-3634.
The post is located at 209 W. Crocker St.
Weston offers chicken barbecue
WESTON – The Weston American Legion Post will serve a chicken barbecue Sunday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
or until gone.
A donation of $10 is requested.
The meal will include a one-half chicken, baked beans, applesauce and roll.
Carryouts will be available.
The post is located on South Main Street.
Ghostly Manor Thrill Center offers deal to military members
It’s almost time to celebrate the 4th of July, and Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is showing appreciation to
past and present military.
The family entertainment center will host active, retired and honorably discharged military members with
free admission (Thrill Pass $25 value) into Ghostly Manor Thrill Center through Sunday. Guests must have
valid military ID. The attraction center is also offering military families a discount on tickets.
The hours are noon to 10 p.m. daily. The center is located at 3319 Milan Road, Sandusky.

Wood County Legion elects officers
The Wood County Council American Legion elected as its 2014-15 officers James Brinker, Pemberville,
commander; Dave Ridenour, Bowling Green, first vice commander; Joe Stockner, Perrysburg,
adjutant/finance officer; and Ken Ault, Bradner, chaplain.
The contest is open until July 26.
