PERRYSBURG – On May 20 at 7 p.m., Way Library, in cooperation with the League of Women Voters of the
Perrysburg Area (LWVPA), will host a presentation on climate change.
The speaker is Sam Evans, a local Perrysburg resident, high school physics teacher at Maumee High School,
and volunteer for The Climate Reality Project.
Last summer, Evans attended a Climate Reality Project conference in Chicago. As a result of this
experience, he volunteers his time giving presentations and talking to people about climate change.
His presentation will try to answer these questions:
• What is climate change? What is causing it and how do we know?
• How is climate change impacting us now? How may it impact us down the road?
• Do scientists agree on the causes of climate change?
• What can we do about climate change?
