Middleton Township Homemakers
Twenty club members and their guests gathered Dec. 2 for a Christmas celebration. This event was hosted by Kristel Asmus at her home in Bowling Green.
The evening began with an elaborate meal prepared by Marty Almanson and Dee Robison.  It featured ham with pineapple, baked potato or baked sweet potato, vegetable dish, rolls, fresh vegetables and dip, strawberry  pretzel salad and a chocolate dessert made by Marian Frobose.  Each woman was given a favor of a homemade Christmas Tea mix in a jar.
Almanson and Robison had planned some fun activities for the group.  There was a contest to see which group could make the longest Christmas chain in a set amount of time.  Another fun activity was an orange decorating contest, where each lady was given an orange and bag of whole cloves and told to decorate the orange.
