TONTOGANY - Six members met at the home of Joyce Asmus for their Oct. 21 meeting, opened by President Judy Robinson.
Thank you's were received from: Otsego Food Pantry for the laundry detergent and dryer sheets purchased by the sorority; and from Helen Wammes and Delcia Sterlings for their glass floral arrangements. Sterling made each member a pot-holder and they were given out.
Girls' Night Out in Grand Rapids was enjoyed by five members on Oct. 17. The next outing will be Nov. 11 when the group will tour a house in Scotch Ridge that used to be a church. Lunch will be first at Janell's in Pemberville.
It was voted to again make up packets of cocoa and cookies for the Otsego Food Pantry at the Nov. 18 meeting.
The Avon party will be on Monday, which is the regular meeting date, at the home of Donna Lambert.
Members were reminded of Irma Heiser's birthday, which was Tuesday.
Asmus gave a program of readings both serious and funny. Afterward, she served chicken salad to the group.
