The Haskins-based club met Jan. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at McKenzie’s Flower Basket on South Main in Bowling
Green. There were seven members present.
Carol Rives and Royce Beaverson celebrated January birthdays.
President Rives held a short business meeting and discussed the OAGC Floral Design Class to be held May
22 at 6 p.m. in the Otsego Park Pavilion. The cost per person will be $6.
Refreshments were served. Dorothy Cromley brought homemade oatmeal cookies. Rives furnished beverages.

Each member planted a terrarium to take home. In addition three terrariums were planted and will be
cultivated at members’ homes, then presented to the Wood Haven Health Care Center nurses’ stations in
February in appreciation of their steadfast and careful nursing.
The next meeting will be held Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Wood Haven, where member Marvella Enright resides.
She will have celebrated her 89th birthday. Birthday cards will be appreciated. Her address is c/o Wood
Haven Health Care Center, 11080 East Gypsy Lane, Bowling Green 43402. The hostess will be Gloria Green,
Marvella’s sister.
Celebrating February birthdays in addition to Enright will be Cromley and Karen Dauer.
