The Dec. 13 meeting of Alpha Delta Master was held at the Bowling Green Country Club with nine members present. Members were very pleased that Doris Harris, who is now residing at Woodhaven Health Care, attended.
Darlene Hecht expressed appreciation for the cards that members sent her during her recent illness.
Treasurer Elaine Spence reported that she had sent a donation from the chapter to the Beta Sigma Phi International Office for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
Dolores Black reported that the committee had met on Dec. 8 at A Taste of Amish at the Woodland Mall. They organized the purchase of Christmas gifts for a special family.
Members thanked the Social Committee for hosting the luncheon. Black reminded members of upcoming holiday events at Woodhaven Health Care and at the Toledo Club.
Sonja Hammer reported that members of City Council recently had dinner at Dyer's, followed by a brief meeting at Ruah Buckingham's home. Founder's Day is scheduled for April 28 at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Janet Parks will host the Jan. 10 meeting at Stadium View. Members who wish to eat lunch should arrive at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at noon. Members who are unable to attend the Jan. 10 meeting should inform Parks by Jan. 9 or earlier.
