Mid-Morning Belles Club
PEMBERVILLE - The Mid-Morning Belles Homemakers Club enjoyed a mystery trip for their meeting on May 23. Nine members and one guest attended.
The group gathered at the Riverview Banquet Centre in Pemberville where Carolyn Borcherding conducted a brief business meeting. She opened with an article entitled "Fill Her Tank First," which was about passing kindness forward.
The members then proceeded to the mystery destination, which was the Chateau Tebeau Winery near Helena.
An educational tour of the vineyard and the wine-making room by Mary Tebeau was followed by a lunch in the winery restaurant.
The next meeting will be held Sept. 25 at the home of Eloise Reitzel. A representative from the Wood County Extension Office will speak on "Salt Savvy."
