Greenwood OES
Theme information at Tuesday's Order of Eastern Star meeting was Vision Quest, which the Lakota call Crying for a Vision. The purpose of the quest is to receive guidance from the spirit world.  Any man or woman can do it and as often as necessary, but it is to be done with the guidance of the Holy Man.
Deputy Grand Matron Kathy Baltz, North Baltimore, was in attendance to explain some changes in the work of the officers.  These changes came from General Grand Chapter, OES.
The chapter's annual scholarship was awarded to Katherine Cochrane, a graduating senior at Bowling Green High School.
An initiation practice will be held on either May 19 at 2 p.m. or May 20 at 7 p.m.  Worthy Matron Denise Zephier will notify all officers once the date is set.
Inspection of officers will be held May 21 at 7:30 p.m.  Officers are asked to be present by 6:30.
The next stated meeting will be June 4, when annual reports will be read and election of officers will be held.
