Alpha Zeta Master
President Vicki Harris conducted the April 24 meeting of Alpha Zeta Master Chapter Beta Sigma Phi with eight members present.  
Treasurer Marilyn Glenn received a thank you from First Step for money received for their Easter dinner.  Betty Goodman announced that she had contacted the Wood County Library and selected several travel books which the chapter will donate in place of a Girl of the Year Award.
Election of officers was held. Elected were: President Colleen Smith, Vice President Mary Tonjes, Secretary Vicki Harris, Treasurer Betty Goodman, Parliamentarian Marilyn Pahl, and City Council representative Linda Harden.
A discussion was held regarding ideas for the upcoming Exemplar Night which Alpha Zeta will be hosting.  
Smith presented her program on Laura Bush, telling about Laura's life before marrying George Bush.
The next business meeting will be on May 8 at 12:30 p.m.  It will be the Mother's Day celebration. Nancy Germann will check on the restaurant.
Marilyn Pahl served two pies to the members for the social hour.
