PEMBERVILLE - The Mid-Morning Belles met March 26 at the home of Mickey Gerwin. She and Wilma Rolf served a breakfast of oven blueberry French toast with sauce, mixed fruit and cookies.
Carolyn Borcherding read three articles: A Sunday School teacher's story of the real meaning of Easter; "Six Great Things You Can Learn From Your Pets"; and an article by Susan Zies on "Seven Healthy Foods that Reduce Stress." Roll call was to name an edible egg.
The craft for this month was to decorate Easter eggs. The completed eggs will be put on a little tree and given to a charity before Easter in 2014.
Next month's meeting will be at Klotz's Nursery on April 24, a Wednesday, at 9 a.m. A light breakfast will be served and members will make terrariums.
The OHCE District Council meeting was also discussed. It will be held April 23 at the Wood County Extension Office at 9:45 a.m. Mid Morning Belles will furnish the morning refreshments and do a curtain call.
