TONTOGANY - The March 18 meeting was held at the home of Judy Robinson, with seven members present.
President Jackie Shank read an article on friends.
The members will go to Findlay on April 1 to view a sand sculpture. The group will leave Tontogany at 10 a.m., meeting at the home of Joyce Asmus. They will lunch at Tony's in Findlay.
Founder's Day will be observed April 15 with dinner at the Whitehouse Inn at 12 p.m. Members will go to the Shank home following dinner.
The Mother's Day observance on May 6 will feature a Disney theme. Discussion was held on decorations and arrangements; a menu was selected.
Election of officers followed: President, Robinson; vice president, Donna Lambert; secretary, Betty Buehrer; treasurer, Janice Kaiser; and Extension officer, Asmus. They will be installed at Founder's Day.
Robinson gave a program on wine, and served everyone from a choice of three different wines. Wine production began in the 1800s in Ohio and there are now over 125 wineries in the state.
Food and other items were brought to be taken to the Otsego Food Pantry.
Angel food cake layered with a pineapple pudding mixture was served to members seated at an Easter themed table.
