The status of Bowling Green goalie Andrew Hammond remains day-to-day, Falcon hockey
coach Chris Bergeron said Tuesday.
The senior standout suffered a hyperextended elbow just 29 seconds into BG’s game at
Colgate Oct. 19.
He missed the final 59:31 of that game and hasn’t played in the three games since.

Bergeron said no decision has been made on if Hammond will be available for this
weekend’s series at Michigan State.
“I wouldn’t be surprised either way,” Bergeron said. “It’s still all positive. It’s
still all moving forward. He has to wrap his arms around where he’s at in terms
of the pain tolerance, the pain level with certain things."
Hammond returned to full practice Friday and has been undergoing treatments twice a
day, Bergeron said.
“I trust him. He’ll come to us when he’s ready to be in the discussion (about who is
going to play),” Bergeron said.
