Bowling Green’s home-and-home series against Robert Morris are two of the eight nonleague contests for
the Falcon hockey team next season.
The Falcons also have home-and-home series against Ohio State and Miami, and a two-game series at
Clarkson. Clarkson will visit BG during the 2015-16 season.
BG also has a Canadian exhibition game that has yet to be scheduled.
The Falcons can play as many as 38 games next season, instead of the usual NCAA limit of 34.
Games against teams outside the continental United States don’t count against the 34-game maximum.
The Falcons will make make separate trips to Western Collegiate Hockey Association rivals Alaska
(Fairbanks) and Alaska-Anchorage next season.
BG plays 28 WCHA league games each season.
Bergeron doubted BG would add the two other nonleague games because of the difficulty in finding games
with next season being so close.
