CLEVELAND — The Mid-American Conference announced today that Bowling Green’s football home game against Toledo on Oct. 26 will start at 2:30 pm and can be seen exclusively on ESPN3.
Both Bowling Green and Toledo are battling for division championships at the midway point of the regular season, meaning the Battle of I-75 will have arguably more significance to the postseason hopes of the two programs than any in recent history.
BGSU will enter the contest with a record of 5-2 overall and 3-0 in conference following a bye this weekend.
Toledo is 3-3 on the season and 2-1 in MAC play heading into a home game against Navy Saturday.Bowling Green is 39-34-4 all-time against Toledo but the Rockets have won each of the past three meetings between the two programs since BGSU won three in a row from 2007-09.
