The Bowling Green men’s basketball program has received a verbal commitment from Richaun Holmes from
Lockport (Ill.) Township East High School, who is currently attending. Moraine Valley Community College
in Illinois.
Moraine Valley head coach Dedrick Shannon confirmed the commitment to hoopsjuco.com.
Holmes, a 6-feet-8 freshman post, was a full academic qualifier out of high school, and will have three
years of playing eligibility at Bowling Green.
Holmes also had offers this fall from Florida A&M, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Chicago
State, according to the website.
Holmes joins Spencer Parker, who announced his verbal commitment to Bowling Green last month, as future
Falcons.
Parker, 6-6, attended West Bloomfield (Mich.) High School and is currently at Fishburne Military Academy
in Virginia. He averaged 23 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game in 2010-11 at West
