Sean Walker, a defenseman for Newmarket in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, has verbally committed to play college hockey at Bowling Green starting next season.
Walker has four goals and 23 assists in 63 games this season, while totaling 83 penalty minutes.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder turns 19 in November. He’s from Keswick, Ontario.
Under NCAA rules, BG coach Chris Bergeron can’t comment on Walker until he’s signed his national letter of intent.
