The Bowling Green State University football team has announced kickoff times for five of its six home games in 2012 along with the Mid-American Conference release this afternoon (June 7). The 2012 home opener with Idaho will take place under the lights at Doyt Perry Stadium, starting at 7 p.m. On Sept. 29, BGSU will play host to Rhode Island at 3:30 p.m. Contests with Miami (Oct. 13) and Eastern Michigan (Oct. 27) will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the Nov. 17 game with Kent State is scheduled to kickoff at noon. The game with the Golden Flashes will be a part of the ESPN Plus/ESPN Game Plan package. Bowling Green will conclude the regular season on Nov. 23 versus Buffalo inside Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. This kick time is not expected to be announced until two weeks prior to the contest with the Bulls due to being a multiple game selection date by ESPN. A handful of road contests have also been announced. The Sept. 15 contest with Toledo will begin at 7 p.m. inside the Glass Bowl. BGSU will visit Akron on Oct. 6. Opening kickoff with the Zips is scheduled for 2 p.m. UMass will host the Orange and Brown on Oct. 20 at Noon. The Falcons will also make a trip to Athens, Ohio, on Nov. 7 for an 8 p.m. kickoff, scheduled to be carried live on ESPN2. Kickoff times with Florida and Virginia Tech will be announced at a later date. All BGSU home games will be streamed live on ESPN3.com during the 2012 season.
