Bowling Green’s Jordan Hopgood has been suspended for the Falcons’ game at Florida next Saturday. A redshirt junior running back, Hopgood was suspended by BG head coach Dave Clawson for a violation of team rules. Hopgood was arrested in the evening of Aug. 17 and charged with sell/furnish alcohol to a person who is underage. Hopgood played nine games in 2011, missing the final three games of the season with a knee injury. He had 60 carries for 213 yards and four touchdowns and added seven receptions for 53 yards last season. |
