Love Bettie, one of Rolling Stone's "bands to watch," will headline a "Warped" Live Wire TV Concert Event Thursday at 8 p.m,. at the Clazel Theatre, 127 N. Main St. Bowling Green.
Presented by WBGU-FM, Live Wire is recorded to be aired later on the public television station WBGU-TV Episodes air Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
Pittsburgh-based Lovebettie are considered the pioneers of "Swagger Rock," a mash-up of neo-soul and rock-pop. This  new take on modern rock has landed the band mass media exposure, major radio circulation, and buzz within the music industry. They have been featured on Warped Tour, Milwaukee Summerfest, SXSW and a number of other major festivals throughout the East Coast and Midwest.
In 2013, Lovebettie released their brand new CD, RISE, to critical acclaim with support from a successful crowd source funding campaign.
Also on the bill is One Days Notice, from Cleveland. The band has been steadily gaining momentum since 2010 with their catchy melodies and highly energetic live show. Soon after formation, they recorded their debut EP "...That's What She Said," which landed them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. The band has received national media attention including as a featured artist on the Reverbnation homepage.
For their first full-length album "When Dinosaurs Get Drunk," One Days Notice worked with producers Ben Schigel (Machine Gun Kelly) and Jim Wirt (Incubus, Something Corporate).
No Dice, an energetic pop punk band from Columbus is supporting their brand new EP "ALL WE COULD AFFORD" and will open this show. Most of the band members attend Bowling Green State University.
Lovebettie and No Dice are both top 40 finalists for the Grammy gig of a lifetime competition.
The Live Wire TV and Radio show is recorded the first Thursday of every month during the academic year at the Clazel Theater by WBGU-FM.
