Top 40 and classic country mixed with classic rock and roll as well gospel and pop standards from the
1920s, ‘3’0s and ’40s.
They were born and raised, and still live in Greenville in Darke County.
They started playing their instruments as children and by the time they were 13 years old the twins
formed their first group. They were soon performing most weekends.
After graduating from high school, the two traveled the Midwest playing the hotel and resort circuit.
After eight years on the road, they came back to their hometown to own, operate, and perform in their
nightclub, My Brother’s Place, which they operated for 15 years.
In 1998, the twins went back out on the road, and now average more than 500 shows per year.
They cover most of Ohio and surrounding states. They are regulars at the Bowling Green summer Lunch in
the Park series.
Brian Swabb does most of the lead vocals, plays guitar player and serves as master of ceremonies. Blain
Swabb, older by 26 minutes, plays a standard eight-string mandolin and his custom-made five-string
mandolin as well as harmonica and adding vocals. He also loves to do pantomimes.
