Violinist Jason DePue, a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Bowling Green native, will be performing a recital with pianist, Laura Melton, on April 12 in Bowling Green. The recital will be in honor of Bowling Green State University Violin Professor, Vasile Beluska, with whom DePue studied from 1986-1995. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in BGSU's Bryan Recital Hall in the Moore Musical Arts Center. The program will include works by Bartok, Sarasate, Williams, Kreisler, DePue, Bazzini, Brahms, Saint-Saens and Ravel. Post-concert festivities will take place at Di Benedetto's Restaurant in Bowling Green. The recital is free and open to the public. |
