PERRYSBURG – Local romance author Jean Ann Geist will serve as guest facilitator for the No Mic Night
author support group May 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave.
Geist worked for years on the staff of the Browne Popular Culture Library at Bowling Green State
University, and four years ago launched her writing career with the publication of "Only in the
Movies," a romantic intrigue set in Northwest Ohio.
Last year she published a follow-up "Only on the Radio."
Geist will open the session talking briefly about her writing and her experience in self publishing. The
rest of the evening will be spent on peer review, where participants can share in progress work. Those
wishing to share work should bring at least a dozen copies of their work. For information on the No Mic
sessions, which are held the third Thursday of each month, join the distribution list by sending an
