PERRYSBURG - The Reel Opinions with WGTE Public Media series at Way Library will show and
discuss two episodes of Austin Film Festival's "On Story," a half-hour series that gives a behind the scenes look at the creative process of the country's most beloved movies and TV shows. The documentaries will be shown Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
In 'Making Comedy Work,' writer/producer Alec Berg ("Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Seinfeld") and Paul Feig ("Bridesmaids") pull back the curtain to show how they create comedy that resonates with us all. The hilarious short film 'Spit' follows the interview.
'Creating Memorable Characters' features conversations with writer/director Rodrigo Garcia and Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez followed by the harrowing Spanish short film 'Who Lasts Longer.'
