The American music film series sponsored by Owens Community College continues Tuesday at 7 p.m. with a screening of "High Lonesome: The Story of Bluegrass Music, featuring Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys" in the Owens Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, off Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township.
The film traces the emergence of bluegrass from the folk music of Appalachian descendants of Scotch-Irish settlers into a popular subgenre of country music.
Hand Hewn String Band perform before the film is shown.
The audience can also visit "Rock On: Photographs by Baron Wolman" featuring work that first appeared in Rolling Stone magazine in the   Walter E. Terhune Gallery.
