Perrysburg Chorale offers free holiday performance
PERRYSBURG - The Perrysburg Symphony Chorale will present a free Holiday Cheer Concert at St. Rose Catholic Church, 214 E. Front St. Saturday  at 7:30 p.m.
The program includes holiday favorites and a sing-along. Pieces to be performed include "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," "Sleigh Ride," "White Christmas," "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" and "Do You Hear What I Hear."
A visit from Santa Claus is expected.

Museum hosts tattoo artist PDF Print E-mail

TOLEDO - Tattoo artist Paul Timman to discuss the relationships between art, tattooing and life during a free Masters Series lecture Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle.
Dubbed the "Rembrandt of Sunset Strip," his clients include Angelina Jolie, Tommy Lee and Mark Wahlberg's.      
In anticipation of his talk, the Museum has partnered with Timman on TMA Top Ink, a search for the region's best Japanese-inspired body art judged by the tattoo artist.
His appearance and the TMA Top Ink competition are inspired by the Museum's fall exhibition Fresh Impressions: Early Modern Japanese Prints, a collection of 343 woodblock prints from the early 20th century. Japanese woodblock prints, especially those from the Edo period, have had a "profound effect" on tattooing, he said.

'Best Christmas Pageant' tickets are now on sale
Tickets are on sale for the Black Swamp Players' "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" to be presented by on Dec 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 14 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1526 E Wooster St, in Bowling Green.  
Tickets $12 and $10 are available at Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St., Bowling Green,  or at the door.
The FUMC women will be holding their annual holiday bazaar before the show and local musicians will be performing at intermission.

The Hump Day Revue and the Stones Throw, 176 E. Wooster St., Bowling Green, are hosting a benefit tonight for SAAFE, the rape crisis center of Wood County.
The event starts at 4 p.m. and the music begins at 7.  
Performers include: Timmy C and the Chewies, Acoustic Penguin, Matt n Jerry's Ice Cream, Kitty Glitter, Russell Martin, Hannah Skowronek, Tony Papa, Mollie Weinberg, Sarah Smith, Justin Payne, Maddox, Bruce Lillie and Alex Baird.
SAAFE provides services to victims of rape, sex trafficking and stalking 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Pianist Jason Farnham who won fans with previous Live in the House shows at the Pemberville and Grand Rapids opera houses will return this weekend with "Get in the Mood for Christmas."
Farnham, who mixes classical and contemporary music with humor, will perform at Pemberville Opera House, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Grand Rapids Town Hall Sunday at 2 p.m.
The San Francisco-based entertainer has placed originals songs in movie, musicals and commercials.
His playing and composing spans contemporary romantic piano, jazz, bossa nova, blues, stride piano, and classical with a modern twist.
In his hands Beethoven's "Fur Elise" gets fitted out with a techno-rock beat to become "Fur Crying Out Loud Elise, Let's Dance!" He transforms W. A. Mozart's "Rondo Alla Turca" into "Rondo Alla Techno."
He also includes his own original pieces including his hit "Lisa's Song (When)."
