Andrew Pelletier will present "The Electro-Acoustic Horn" at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. The Faculty Artist Series concert features music by Randall Faust, A.J. Stegall, C.R. Kasprzyk and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
Master of Fine Arts students Jason Harris and Justin Carter will present their work at 7:30 p.m. at Prout Chapel in the Creative Writing Program's Reading Series, co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Mid-American Review.
"Consumed: Nourishment and Indulgence," an exhibit concerned with the issues, attitudes and associations that food creates and symbolizes, will open in the Willard Wankelman Gallery in the Fine Arts Center. Artists participating in the event include: Michael Burton and Michiko Nitta, Oron Catts and Ionat Zurr, Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman, Sue Coe, Sayaka Ganz, Jeph Gurecka, Mary Ellen Johnson, Judith Klausner, Katharine Kuharic, Monika Malewska, Portia Munson, Debra Priestly, Tara Sellios, Dennis Wojtkiewicz and April Wood. Continues through Oct. 9. Gallery hours are 1-4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
