Piano students to play selections from ‘Rudolph’TONTOGANY – The Grand Rapids Arts Council is
presenting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 15 in the Otsego Elementary
School Commons.Piano students of Lynne Long will be performing songs from the popular musical, along
with many other Christmas favorites. Participating will be: Nathaniel Born, Ava Bowen, Abby Eberly,
Jacob Fritz, Sammy Head, Abigail Hergert, Elijah Hergert, Joshua Hergert, Naomi Hergert, Ruth Hergert,

images on displayFOSTORIA – A series of paintings by Norman Rockwell is now at exhibit at the Wesley
Memorial Gallery in the narthex of Wesley United Methodist Church. 1200 Van Buren St.The exhibit
continues through Jan. 31.The exhibit includes Rockwell’s series from 1943 the Four Freedoms. The works
"Freedom from Want," "Freedom from Fear," "Freedom of Worship" and
"Freedom of Speech" were based on a speech by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.Waterville
Playshop presents evening of seasonal soundsWATERVILLE – Waterville Playshop’s Juke Box Saturday Night
and Friends will present an evening of seasonal music Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 22 N.
Second St.The show features the a cappella group, Happenstance, the Napoleon Community Band, a
children’s chorus, a unique rendition of "’Twas the Night Before Christ-mas," solos, plus a
sing-a-long of favorite Christmas carols and songs.Nonperishable food items will be collected to benefit

auditionsTOLEDO – Auditions for Toledo Rep’s production of "The Glass Menagerie" will be held
Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. at the theater at 16 10th St.The cast is comprised of four characters, two
male and two female roles. Jeff Albright will direct."The Glass Menagerie" runs weekends April

Players Theatre’s production of the comedy "The Liar" will be held Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.
andMonday 7 to 9 p.m. in the theater at 2740 Upton Ave.The play by Pierre Corneille is translated by
David Ives. It calls for a cast of five men and four women.Directed by Barbara Barkan, it will be staged
weekends March 7 through March 22.
