'Best Christmas Pageant' tickets are now on sale
Tickets are on sale for the Black Swamp Players' "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" to be presented by on Dec 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 14 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1526 E Wooster St, in Bowling Green.  
Tickets $12 and $10 are available at Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St., Bowling Green,  or at the door.
The FUMC women will be holding their annual holiday bazaar before the show and local musicians will be performing at intermission.  

Toledo Symphony celebrates Christmas at the Peristyle
TOLEDO -  The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will present Christmas at the Peristyle Saturday at 3 p.m. with pre-concert activities starting at 2 p.m. at the Toledo Museum of Art.
Jeffrey Pollock  will conduct the program of  songs and stories of the season. The matinee performance will feature sing-a-longs, narrative holiday stories set to music and a visit from Santa Claus.

Rep's 'Christmas Carol' returns
TOLEDO - The Toledo Repertoire Theatre presents "A Christmas Carol" this weekend at the Valentine Theatre, 400 N. Superior St. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. .
The annual holiday extravaganza a cast of close to 100.

Jazz friends to jam on Maumee
TOLEDO - Bassist Clifford Murphy and Friends will perform a Jazz on the Maumee concert Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Aqua Lounge at the Grand Plaza Hotel, 444 N Summit St.
Joining Murphy will be pianist Kyle Turner, drummer Jim Seibold and trumpeter  Vince Krolak with vocalists Lauren Smith and "Blues La Rue."
Cover charge is $15, $10 for members of the Art Tatum Jazz Society and  $5 for students.

Young Rep casting 'MacBeth'
TOLEDO - The Toledo Young Rep will hold auditions for its production "MacBeth, A Kid's Cautionary Tale" to be held Saturday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, 16 10th St.
Directed by Amy Heuring, "MacBeth, A Kid's Cautionary Tale Concerning Greed, Power, Mayhem, and Other Current Events" will be staged March 14-16. Audition materials are available from the web site at www.toledorep.org. For information call 419-243-9277.
